They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I think a photograph should spark a feeling, a memory or an emotion. I hope when you view these "freeze frames", one or two will stir something in you.

Campfire
The campfires we had over the weekend made for some interesting photo opportunities.
We had a fire this week-end too! The grandchildren all wanted to make s'mores. But it was pretty windy out, and the mosquitoes were thick. So my husband fired up the gas firepit on the deck, we had a quick marshmallow roast, and headed back inside!
Not only did we make s'mores, but we did most of the cooking over the campfire. My daughter's boyfriend must have been a Boy Scout in another life because he could build an awesome campfire!
