Upcycling
I picked up a small chest of drawers at our local ReStore for $10. It was actually a dresser at one point and someone sawed it in half. It needed some TLC but it had potential. I needed something for The Lodge at Camp-Run-A-Muck (which is also still a work in progress) to keep some clothes in and I thought, with a bit of elbow grease and imagination, this little chest of drawers would do the trick. I call this "upcycling" rather than restoring because I didn't really "restore" it. I didn't try to fix the missing bits of wood or make anything match or look like new. I just cleaned it up and gave it a second chance. What do you think?
